At Eungella State School we aim to provide a quality, authentic curriculum that inspires and motivates students to achieve their personal best. As a Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden School, our curriculum includes a weekly Garden class for year 4 - 6 and a fortnightly Kitchen Class for year 4 - 6. This program provides a real-life context for various aspects of the curriculum.

At Eungella State School our learning experiences follow the Australian Curriculum. The Australian Curriculum sets out the core knowledge, understanding, skills and general capabilities important for all Australian students. It describes the learning entitlement of students as a foundation for their future learning, growth and active participation in the Australian community. It makes clear what all young Australians should learn as they progress through schooling. It is the foundation for high quality teaching to meet the needs of all Australian students.

The school has visiting Languages Other Than English (Japanese), Arts and Physical Education (PE) specialist teachers working with all students across the school. Our students also have access to a Learning support teacher, Special needs teacher and Speech pathologist, all of whom visit the school on a regular basis. This work is then reinforced on an individual basis with our trained teacher aides.

As we are a small school we take the opportunity to co-operatively plan with other local small schools in the Pioneer Valley Cluster. This allows schools to combine for events such as excursions, celebration days and sports days and to provide students with some consistency across the schools as well as assist in the transition of our children to high school.
